About

This vision has grown organically from my life as a teacher, Juilliard-trained flutist, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and lifelong student of intergenerational healing.Through music, I’ve always been drawn to how we tune in to one another — what we gain, what we sometimes lose, and how those subtle choices shape the greater harmony of our lives. The word Wilder brings an essential quality to that exploration: a reminder that real harmony is not sterile or perfect, but alive, untamed, and deeply human. It invites us to root ourselves in joy, generosity, and a spirit of collaboration. To some, that may sound idealistic. But life — in all its challenge and heartbreak — has shown me again and again that courage, faith, and hope are the very fibers of resilience. A Wilder Harmony isn't about bypassing pain. It’s about engaging deeply and compassionately, holding space for ourselves and each other, and growing our capacity to respond with grace. This work is grounded in a belief that harmony is not just a musical concept — it’s a social, emotional, and even spiritual one. A Wilder Harmony is a living practice, a kind of collective coherence that can be cultivated through simple disciplines and meaningful dialogue. With time, these practices reveal the quiet but powerful social intelligence at the heart of our being.Similar ideas are sprouting up like wildflowers in small corners across the globe. This is our corner. You're warmly invited to explore, reach out, and join the conversation.I’d love to hear from you.---- Lisa Allen

My Cousin, Jennifer, and I

We started A Wilder Harmony as a forest preschool — a heartfelt experiment in care, curiosity, and connection. Though the school has gently come to a close, our bond continues to grow, rooted in shared values and ongoing, intergenerational conversation.
